After days, weeks, & months of looking online, going to see houses on Sundays, and a few (ok, a lot) of excel spreadsheets, we decided to build our forever home.
We first looked at this particular community four months ago. We were ready to sign on the dotted line, and then... We stopped. It was too quick, we hadn't seen many other houses and we didn't want to rush into this huge decision without exploring all our options.
So we went exploring, used houses, new houses, staying in the current house... Everything lead us right back to the Rome.
There were some substantial benefits to waiting. We got the lot that we wanted (which we were told would not be available until Phase II, back in May) & significant incentives for options we would have paid full price for in May. Everything truly came together for us.
Jason & I are over the moon excited to build our forever home.
